Reminds me of a gag-line from an old college gross-out
flick (I think it was "Up the Academy"). A crusty old
guy in the ROTC cadre kept saying, "I remember in the
dark days before Pearl Harbor...." For the U.S.
national security state, that's no joke.

Dear Richard,

I would like to thank you for your writings of 2002,
one cannot say they are a pleasure to read but it is
wonderful to know that you are raising awareness in the
World and, hopefully, among your fellow citizens to the
axis of evil that seems to be governing from
Washington.

May 2003 be a better year for humanity.

Sincerely,

Nicola Furey

PS. Are you related to Michael Moore? He seems to be
trying to do the same thing in a different way, his
film should be obligatory for all students world wide.

=============

Dear Nicola,

No relation to Michael. I love his work however.

Yes, I am interested in receiving your book. Please
give me more details.

Your dissertation is as good a one as I have seen or
read, which does fit most all the pieces together. My
hat is off to you!

There are, however, some pieces missing. When I have
had a chance to digest this more, I will try to fill
some in. One that I can think of is, to counteract all
that you have said, we must not give in to a feeling of
despair, but must know that there are many forces
around this planet, (of it and not of it), which will
not allow us all to be destroyed.

Waking up to the truth is one big way to fight this.
Another way is to KNOW that these forces will not
succeed. I know it is hard to concentrate on, but I
feel it in my bones----it will work!!!!! (But first we
must open our eyes!) I'll think of more as I go along,
and share them with you.

God bless you!!!
With love and peace,

Evelyn Goodman

Dear Evelyn,

I believe there are two different possible futures for
humanity. Neither is certain to happen, both are
possible. Unfortunately, if we are realistic, we must
admit that 95% odds are with fascist dictatorship,
which is nothing but capitalism finally taking off the
phony mask it has worn for the past two centuries.

Yes we must 'visualize positively' as you suggest, but
that is only the beginning if we are to get the 5%
long-shot across the winning post. Our visualizations
must lead us to effective collective action of an
appropriate kind.

keep the hope alive,

Subject: Women Power
Date: Mon, 6 Jan 2003 10:20:02 -0500

Hi,

What can we do you ask. You describe the Mafia control
of the empire.

Will internet erode the Mafia power slowly?

But I have another question.

Is the problem men control the world. Is the mafioso
you describe male. Of course it is. Who starts wars,
men, who are dumb enough to fight in them, men. Who
perceive of themselves as heroes and not suckers, men.

I have read women possess a somewhat advanced
evolutionary state . When angry they do not resort to
war, greed does not drive them to war, so the theory is,
as women have evolved while men have been stuck with at
the reptilian level of aggression. A woman will fight
with words, a man when angry quickly accesses his lower
brain and reptilian anger.

Women are civilized, have children, rear them, educate
them, are interested in schools, jobs and civilization.
This is not a blanket characterization, tend to be,
there are bad women and good men.

Suppose instead of strike and protest we elect women to
office. They can't do worse then the male mafia about
to extinct mankind or at least 80%. We might see the UN
95 % women. A few men, opposite to now.

Few male wannabes like Thatchers or Albrights
hopefully. Was it Neferritit the first statue to power
and Apollo. Before that statues were round and earth
mother goddess ruled. Could we get back to that before
male Mafia Apollo took over western culture and seems
intent to destroy all?

Send info on where to get the Zen book. .

Dear Elliot,

The book: That can be easily ordered on the website:
http://www.QuayLargo.com/Transformation/.

The Internet: I do not see any evidence that it is
making any inroads against the global regime, nor that
it is likely to. It has put a lot of us in touch with
one another, and it is a great source of information,
but that does not translate automatically into any kind
of change. And the sad fact is that the Christian
Coalition types have probably made more effective use
of it than we have. Something else needs to happen (my
ideas are in the book) and the net can assist such
initiatives, but the net itself is only a tool.

Men vs. Women: Your arguments, I'm sure you will agree,
are not new ones. They've been 'out there' for many
years. There is certainly some truth in them, but my
understanding of those issues leads to a quite
different line of thinking...

'Electing women instead of men' is a non-starter.
Elections themselves are a major part of the problem.
Electoral politics are a means of elite control, they
must always be so by their very nature, and they have
been so in fact ever since the Roman Republic.

What we need is a totally different kind of politics.
And in a human-centered politics, men will have an
important role to play just as much as women. Although
the balance-of-contribution will probably swing much
more to the women's camp.

But what disturbs me most about the 'men vs. women'
arguments is that they are blaming us - the victims -
for the predicament society puts us all in. There is
nothing wrong with men and there is nothing wrong with
women. Cutting humanity's balls off (so to speak) is
not a solution and is not desirable.

This point is one of the most important things that
Daniel Quinn teaches us in his work ("Story of B",
"Ishmael"). We humans are not the problem, the Taker
Myth is the problem. Men are more aggressive by
nature, and hence they naturally fill the leadership
roles in a society organized around aggression and
exploitation. In a society not so organized, men are
OK the way they are.

imho,
rkm

dear rkm,

thanks for that fine essay. the media and apocalypse
references brought an interesting tidbit to mind.
occasionally i scan through a few particular christian
millenialist sites, not because i believe in that line
of thinking but because the rare politically canny
sites that are genuinely anti-NWO can come up with some
fascinating and diligent research. but also an insight
or two. the one which came to mind was from a writer
who speculated that TV itself is the actual "false
prophet" spoken of in the book of revelations.

accurate enough, i think...

Dear Richard,

after almost 60 years on Earth, i am sorry to say that
i share much of your interpretation, your desolation
and helplessness. What can we do? Is it not what normal
people always did more intuitively than knowingly:
There is no realistic chance for alternatives, so let
them do their bloody business, don't care and don't
bother about the news, hide in your private little
niche and try to enjoy this with your friends and
family as long as possible? At least ignorance would
help you to spend a number of years of that little
lifetime in relative luck and peace. Thank you for your
text. And good luck to you,

Bernd Hamm

===========

Dear Bernd,

I can understand why you come to such conclusions,
given what I wrote, but I do not in fact feel desolate
or hopeless. And I believe there is a realistic chance
for alternatives. And I certainly don't want to 'leave
them to their bloody business.'

But we need to understand exactly what we're up against
before we can do anything about it. Right now I'd say
our greatest enemy is not "them" but rather our own
wrong analysis and our belief in approaches that cannot
possibly work. Keep in mind that there are millions of
activists around the world. If they were all working
in effective ways we could change the world. And by
that I do not mean to criticize the noble efforts of
all those activists today; they are all doing their
sincere best and are helping somewhat. But we need
something else, something more, if we are going to save
the world.

best regards,
rkm

Hey Richard,

I would hope this would be just a strange rumor. Is
there <<any>> way to verify this directly from Doug
Stuber himself? If you would be able to get direct
confirmation from him, this would be much more
believable. I'm really disgusted with the current
situation the Bush administration has put the United
States in with the loss of our liberties, however I'm
just as disgusted with unconfirmed rumors.

Please confirm if at all possible. Also, confirm if
this Mr. Stuber has been involved with anything
suspicious other than the Green Party which is not
really as progressive as it could be.

Thanks for all your info bro'

Dear Richard:

Your 'Welcome to the Year 2003-The year of the
Apocalypse' is an extraordinary exposure of today's
global system. Yes, this system is hidden by an
illusion created through social conditioning, media
control of information, and education. The system's
conditioning is so successful that few try to put the
pieces together as you did. It has to be frightening
how the pieces fit together. Who wishes for such
paranoia? It is normal to reject a world replete with
dominating conspiracies. Why are so many content with
micro perspectives and don't want to widen and deepen
to see the whole? For those in the establishment, it
may in part be a fear of falling out. It is a
necessity to hang on even knowing the immanent
artificiality of it all. There are the many with false
hopes of getting into the system. By the system I mean
having a standard of material provisioning that offers
life some degree of freedom. How provocative that the
culture of corporate and government operation is not
really different from the Mafia culture portrayed in
several recent films. The slave/elitist culture of the
Roman Empire appears to have prevailed under a surface
of appearances, however now ruthlessly empowered by
technology. What has really changed? I think you are
right in calling this the year of the 'Apocalypse.' It
is the year of challenge for many to see the evil
within.
