Richard,

I totally agree with your piece included below.  The attempt to delegitimize
discussions of this trend grows both from ignorance and an explicit technique
on the part of Gingrich and company.  The New Right makes no bones about its
strategy to shout us down and to characterize us as extremists when we call
them on their fascism!

By the way, the new publication, The Standard, is a good source of information
on US Right Wing strategy.  It discusses the mechanics and tradeoffs of
political action better than most general audience publications.  It is also
owned and written by some of the top right wing strategists.
