Friends,
This post is a bit of a miscellany.
First of all, I just want to let you know that I'm having a
wonderful time with my family on Kauai. A really relaxing
non-activist interlude. Next week on the other hand is
action packed. My itinerary is below in case there might be
others out there who might want to join in on one or another
of the scheduled gatherings.
And then, below that, are some very interesting comments on
9-11 that were sent to me by a "Mark from Canada". Perhaps
I've corresponded with him before, but I can't recall it at
this moment.
I like the basic assumptions behind his comments. He accepts
that the planes hitting the WTC were a cover for the
explosive charges that were planted in the buildings. That's
pretty obvious to anyone who's looked seriously at these
events, but not many people START their comments from that
perspective.
He then talks about a faked "coup attempt" against Bush.
That makes a lot of sense. How else do you explain the
military not rising up against the White House's treasonous
acts of 9-11? The top brass are aware that Bush ordered the
Air Force to stand down, permitting the WTC disasters. And
the top brass are conservative Americans who have no stomach
for that kind of fascist activity. They don't like Herr
Fuhrer Bush & Rumsfeld any more than you or I do.
I haven't seen anything else to corroborate what "Mark"
says, but it deserves some serious consideration.

Subject: A new theory for ponderers of 9/11

Lately I've been thinking about that 9/10 lockdown on
the carrier Theodore Roosevelt: news flotsam that came
up suddenly, then quickly faded. Suppose the total
failure of numerous NE air bases to engage the 9/11
death planes was not precisely a stand-down of that
moment, but rather a part of a comprehensive lockdown
ordered the day before by Rumsfeld, or Bush himself,
in "anticipation" of a coup attempt. This would give
the planes the clean shots they enjoyed; it would
also explain why no one has yet been investigated,
much less concretely blamed, for the apparent failure.
Something like this would be a military secret,
hence the silence of officers and subordinates
who implemented the lockdown regime.
Fear of being accused as conspirators would tighten
lips all by itself, hence the blatant 9/11 anomalies
would go undebated by anyone in the military whose
opinion mattered in the least.
The plane collisions were, after all, covering nice
professional demo jobs on the towers, so the military
would have to be removed as a source of curiosity
before the fact, lest everything unravel before the
national trance of fear and vengeance be securely set.
The necessary shaped charges were installed during
the seven-week period following the complex's leasing
from the Port Authority by Silverstein Properties;
during that time the sight of strangers mucking around
the service cores would be accepted by the tenants as
a normal sign of transition, hence not deeply noted.
The military would later be told that the coup attempt
had been intuited on the basis of ambiguous decodings,
that the collisions were diversionary tactics for
treasonous actions that fortunately were sleuthed out
and interdicted in time nevertheless, that everybody
did the best they knew, feel no guilt, forget it,
we've got things properly tightened up from now on.
However, thinking in a more broadly historical manner,
one can discern possibilities much more intriguing.
Can a military with well over 700 foreign bases and
a half-century of uninterrupted overseas involvement
truly be considered the rigidly obedient monolith one
would expect a comparable force to be if kept at home?
I presume, quite to the contrary, that the psychology
of the rebellious colony could develop "out there"
and then spread home with ordinary career rotations.
Did not such a psychology originally create the USA?
The base-hopping of Air Force One to Barksdale, then
Offutt, before the return to Washington may have been
a loaded posturing meant exclusively for armed forces
consumption, corresponding to shelterings at "fully
loyal" command posts that a president would be able to
rely upon during the doubts and confusions of a real
coup attempt. In other words, the Midwest odyssey of
the presidential party on 9/11 was meant to give the
military of all ranks certain predictable impressions:
combat level personnel would see what the public was
intended to see, but the brass, privy to the reality
of a variously politicized upper echelon, would see
signs of a thwarted coup attempt.
Similarly, Bush's appearance in an Air Force flight
suit on the Abraham Lincoln might be seen as shabby
Late Roman theater by media pundits, but the in-house
perception would be a message that the president has
re-established full control over his challengers.
Never rule out the military as a conscious actor in
this ongoing drama of an empire's decay. Insertion of
the above theory into subsequent events may serve to
immediately illuminate baffling expanses of darkness.
