Short of some unimaginable technological revolution, such a target could not possibly be achieved without shutting down almost the whole of our industrialised economy, changing our way of life out of recognition.

If the government programs really would cut down emissions by 80% and replace our industrialized economy by a sustainable one, I would be in favor, even if there is no global warming. But they are still building freeways and trying to achieve economic growth, so they are clearly not serious about those radical goals. They have other kinds of radical goals, which aren’t clear, but probably have to do with bringing in a world government, beginning with a UN carbon tax.

That would be OK if he did his research and made sense. Among his absurd claims, Offit says 10,000 simultaneous vaccinations would not be harmful. He also makes the ridiculous observation that there is more mercury in a can of tuna fish than in a vaccination. Duh! We don’t inject tuna fish in to our veins.
