re: Phony terrorism in Iraq

Friends,

From what I've been able to gather, the U.S. plans for Iraq -
apart from controlling the oil and building permanent military
bases for use as a launching pad - involve splitting Iraq into
independent, ethnically oriented provinces - i.e., a
balkanization agenda. In order to move toward that objective,
intelligence operatives (American, British, and Israeli) are
trying to stir up ethnic conflict in Iraq. They do this by
selectively assisting insurgent groups, and by blowing up
civilians and Iraqi security forces, and then blaming these
actions on 'suicide bombers'and this evidently non-existent
character called Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. These destabilization
operations serve the dual purpose of misrepresenting the
nature of the Iraqi resistance to American audiences.

Back in May, I posted an article about an Iraqi whose car was
impounded by American forces, and then returned to him loaded
with explosives. He was instructed to drive to an Iraqi police
station, where presumably the car would be remotely detonated,
and voila, another 'suicide bomber'. This particular driver
was lucky - he recognized that his car was handling
irregularly, and found the explosives before the plan could go
through:

(This is similar to the scenario that I suspect was used in the
London Underground bombings, where knapsacks were booby
trapped instead of an automobile.)

Another report, which includes other such incidents as well, was
written by John Kaminsky, "Sick Strategies For Senseless
Slaughter":
