Hi Richard,

I would like to send your open letter to my WHAT IS GOING ON
friends of truth list, as follows -- okay?

If YES, please pass the text of my introduction, and suggest
a better title for the letter itself to that which I have
given?

Thanks,
Boudewijn

Dear Boudewijn,

By all means - share it.

Dear Richard:

I do not understand how a revolutionist can write a
philosophy for these days without mentioning the word
corporation once. How much stock are you holding in case the
revolution doesn't pan out?

Dear John,

I didn't leave it out intentionally. On the other hand, I
see corporations as a symptom more than a cause.

How many corporate products do you buy every day? What is
the relevance of questions like this? Is our sincerity in
doubt?

cheers,
rkm

Thanks for sharing that with us, Richard.

If you are interested in the evolution of state-based
hierarchies from hunter-gatherer societies, I would
recommend Chapter 14 of Jared Diamond's book, Guns, Germs,
and Steel. It is entitled "From Egalitarianism to
Kleptocracy."

Dear Richard:

Thanks for your work in bringing your relevant thoughts and
ideas to the collective consciousness. I found on my list
an article of your or copy of letter to some fellow sufi
thinkers and your words resonated with much that has been
churning away in my own consciousness and in my ongoing need
to stay awake, aware and present to the times we live in.
Schronicity abounds; I'm also reading Doris Lessing's
autobiography and was astounded at her insight on the
historical process. She felt that she did not become truly
awake until she began years of study with Sufi master,
Indres Shah. And she was very active politically,
especially in her years as a communist in Rhodesia, and
later in the early post war years of Britain. At any rate,
tho I am truly a neophete in all these areas, I welcome your
many links and ways to inform myself so that I can be more
at choice in my attitudes, beliefs, etc. My own intuition
is a reliable guide in this de-conditioning, de-bugging
personal project of mine! If you send out regular
e-mails, let me subscribe to same. I welcome your input.

Sincerely, Norma Pirie

Dear Norma,

Thanks for your comments, and you are now subscribed.

You'll get two copies of this, being on both lists, but most
postings go only to one list or the other.

welcome,
rkm

"One cannot separate economics, political science, and
history. Politics is the control of the economy. History,
when accurately and fully recorded, is that story. In most

separate subfields, obscuring the close interconnections
