The last I'd heard, the "Bible" on this subject was the book "The Politics of Heroin in Southeast Asia", by McCoy. I've never actually seen it. When I checked at the Library of Congress (ca. 1988), it was in the catalog, but missing from the collection. Can anyone who has read this book comment on it ? BTW before the holidays I found it available on-line at Lawrence Hill, http://www.bookserve.com /fred -- F.Baube(tm) * "It is simply not wise to risk getting it G'town U MSFS '88 * up one's nose" -- advice of the Jell-O •••@••.••• * Company to customers wishing to fill a #include <disclaimer.h> * swimming pool with the stuff @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Editor: I recall that Joe Ferguson was quite impressed with this book. Perhaps he could offer some comments, or (re)send any review he might have on hand. -rkm @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ ~=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=~=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=~--~=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=~=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=~ Posted by Richard K.
