Friends, _Many people have written in response to the recent series of postings. Some are very encouraging, some are aghast, and some are unhappy with the way I'm running the list. I consider all of this a very good sign - the material is _getting to people. That's the whole point. I don't want to post all the responses at once, because no one would be able to read through it all - it would be saved for that never-never land called 'later'. So I'll be posting a digestible chunk every day or two. But first, I'm going to update the website to include all the latest material, and the latest list postings.
