Hi Richard,

I think you made a number of very important points in your
email. I won't repeat them as everyone on the list should
have gotten your posting.

One very important item was the claim that 12 Congressional
committees were considering investigating different aspects
of the 9/11 tragedy.

I would like to research this further. I think that a
serious investigation could precipitate a constitutional
crisis in the US - I doubt that any serious investigation
will take place (and I hope I'm wrong). In any case,
watching the proceedings closely should reveal much about
the extent of true and informed democracy in the US (or lack
thereof).

If anyone has any solid information about congressional or
major media journalistic investigations of these 'loose
ends' in the 9/11 story, please drop me a line.

Thanks so much,
Fred

==================

Dear Fred,

It may be that most of the investigations are about Enron
(which conveniently distracts us from the more important
issue of 911 complicity). The claim about 911
investigations was in the posting, but I forwarded that from
another source. Let us know what you find out.

Sorry for the confusion.

Good commentary. Here's another relevant quote from Mr.
Trotsky:

Trotsky explained very well that for a revolution to take
place it is not enough for the masses to understand that
they cannot live in the old way. The ruling classes must
become convinced that they cannot rule in the old way
either. So a change in the methods of rule is itself an
important objective indication of the approach of
revolution, or the development of a revolutionary state
within society.

Dear Margaret,

We certainly have this 'objective indication' in spades.

First neoliberalism, then globalization, and finally a police
state enabled by covert domestic terrorism.

Even the proverbial boiling frog should be getting nervous
by now.

Dear Richard,

I am truly embarrassed by the delay in getting back to you.
Please accept my sincere apologies.

I am also sorry to read of the difficult time you were
having & am very pleased that you are feeling better now
that things have taken a turn for the better. I wish you
continued good luck & ask if I can contribute a small sum
(how much would you be needing from each of us?) by cheque
or B/D. I'd prefer that to credit card. If credit card only,
is acceptable, I propose that I send you my details in
stages. Would that be safe from interlopers & possible
theft? How does the 'PayPal' account work?

Awaiting your news, regarding the job interview. How did it
go? With kind regards & good wishes for the future, yours
sincerely

- Diamantis N.Pateras.

Dear Diamantis,

Things are still in turmoil. The job interview was unsuccessful,
and I'm pursuing many other leads. PayPal isn't set up yet because
the website is still unstable. Any contributions would be appreciated
and can be sent by ordinary check in any currency to:

Dear Mr.Moore;

Find you material very enlightening. Your overviews give a more
comprehensive view of what is in reality one basic root problem. I'm
referring as many people as possible to your website. Have you contacted
people like Ralph Nader, Mollie Ivens, Michael Moore, etc.? Very
recently, Bill Moyers has been talking about this very subject on his
Public Television program called "Now". I hope they don't bump him off.

Thank you for writing this information, let's hope there is yet a
chance.

Sincerely,

Robert Head

============

Dear Robert,

Thanks for the encouragement and for distributing the
material more widely. I'm not very good at promoting it
myself, and if anyone wants to bring the ideas to the
attention of opinion leaders, that would be fine with me.

all the best,
rkm
