Friends, This is unusual for me, to post news articles on the cyberjournal list. I don't plan to make a habit of it. But special events deserve special treatment. Certainly that 'no nukes' announcement re/Iran was very special indeed. It was the first indicator I'd seen that the attack on Iran might have been cancelled. And now here's another special one... How many times have you heard someone say, "If it were an inside job, someone, somewhere would eventually step forward and blow the whistle. If that happened, then I could take the idea seriously." Well, it seems to have happened, so let's track down all those people and see what they have to say now. I've included the URLs of the references, which seem to check out. Cossiga seems to have the connections to give authority what he says, and he has a track record of having his revelations being verified by subsequent investigations. It is not surprising that we find this kind of whistle-blowing first in an Italian newspaper, as there was considerable rage in Italy when one of their reporters was fired on by American forces while she was in the Green Zone, presumably to silence her. Cossiga was elected President of the Italian Senate in July 1983 before winning a landslide 1985 election to become President of the country in 1985. Cossiga gained respect from opposition parties as one of a rare breed - an honest politician - and led the country for seven years until April 1992. I add one thing: it could not be accomplished without infiltrations in the radar and flight security personnel."
